Background on Blaire and Sophia:
We are two girls who both grew up in Atlanta, went to UGA but never met each other until after graduating from college. We are the best of friends (biffles, if you will) who met in the Spring of 2009 thanks to our (now) ex-boyfriends. If one good thing came from those two failed relationships, it was the new friendship that formed between the two of us. And now, 15 months after meeting each other, Sophia is off to conquer the West Coast, leaving Blaire to hold down the fort on the East Coast. This blog will be about our lives, (love lives, new jobs and school, and of course filled with hilarious antics that always seem to happen to us) 3000 miles apart from one another.
Bio on Blaire:
I'm a 24 year old native Atlantan who works in the corporate world by day, but dreams at night of making it big one day by either being a Food Network Challenge winner or becoming a comedy writer for SNL. These are my "whoa! dream big!" dreams and I'm not doing a TON to start to conquer them yet due to current financial stress, but writing a blog is a definite start for the comedy gig. I actually started my own blog back in November, which you're welcome to check out as well! I think you'll get a chuckle out of it. So there's that. I love to laugh and point out the awkwardness in situations. Witty humor and sarcasm are some of my best friends, and also my shields for allowing things to get too serious. You'll probably find that I have the maturity of a 12 year old at times and I hope you can enjoy that and not ridicule me for it. If you do ridicule it, then you can stop reading it. Kthanx. OH - I also have an obsession with singing and/or karaoke, How I Met Your Mother (HIMYM) and I enjoy talking in abbreviations. So if you aren't familiar with abbrevs you might want to brush up on those before you start reading the blog. Oooorrr you can just try to pick it up as we go along.
I will be representing the City Lights portion of the blog because Atlanta is at least a 2-3 hour drive from the coast. And let's face it, I go out a LOT in Atlanta...so the nightlife is definitely a blog-worthy subject that will be touched upon quite a bit.

I'm a 24 year old who is originally from Texas but moved to Atlanta when I was really young. I work in Corporate America right now, and what they say is true- it's not it's all cracked up to be. I've decided to follow my dreams and venture out to the West Coast to pursue Fashion. Not to mention my underlying goal of becoming a famous moviestar. But that's neither here nor there. I'm a second-time blogger. The first time was tainted with the ex (mentioned above) so here I am starting fresh, ready to let you lovely folks into my world...don't get any crazy ideas though, I'm saving myself. I like long walks on the beach, the smell of fresh rain, cupcakes, the number seven, almost any music sans country, flowers, and dolphins. I sometimes come across to people as being bitchy, aaand sometimes it's warranted. But most of the time, I'm just me- I'm sarcastic and I've had a twenty four year-old love affair with witty humor. Oh, btdubs, I also speak in abbrevs. Catch on or go home.
I'll be representing the Ocean Views portion of the blog since I'm moving to Sunny LA and will be 20 minutes from the beach (holla!). I'm sure that beach-front night-life will be a common topic but I guess I won't truly know that until I get out there!
